Trystian Juarez Interview

Christmas might be a little late for those who use FedEx and UPS.

Both FedEx Express and UPS are experiencing delays and disruptions due to the frigid temperatures.

FedEx has large hubs in Memphis and Indianapolis. Last night, the severe weather disrupted their normal operations.

They said this in a statement Friday morning:

Potential delays are possible for package deliveries across the U.S. with a delivery commitment of Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24. FedEx is committed to provide service to the best of our ability.

Please continue to check this Service Alerts page for updates. You can also track your shipments on fedex.com. Residential recipients can enroll in FedEx Delivery Manager to stay informed of their shipment’s progress.

Operational impacts to other FedEx operating companies may vary due to local weather conditions.

Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, shipments delayed due to inclement weather are not eligible for a refund or credit under the Money-Back Guarantee policy.

UPS is also having delay issues due to weather. On their website, it says that due to significant weather events, UPS hubs in Louisville, KY and Rockford Illinois will be impacted.
