AJ Ramirez is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal High School junior soccer player AJ Ramirez is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week. Ramirez netted Liberal’s goal in a 1-0 win over Bishop Carroll Monday in the opening round of the Wichita South Titan Classic. The Redskins play Derby Thursday night in the semifinals of the tournament. Ramirez also plays basketball for the Angry Red. Liberal head coach Lori Navarro lauds the improvement this offseason of Ramirez who put in a lot of work on his game this summer.
