Accident in Kiowa County Involves a Turpin Man

An accident occurred on Thursday July 6th at approximately 8:03 am in Kiowa County. The accident was on US Highway 54 at mile post 105.
A 2033 Hyundai was traveling East on Highway U54 at approximately mile marker 105 when the driver, Aubrie Lynn Mcphaul, 34, of Jacksonville North Carolina, slowed down for a vehicle in front of it that was traveling slower. A 2013 Kenworth being driven by Mark Zieke, 64, of Turpin Oklahoma, failed to slow down and rear ended the Hyundai in the Eastbound lane.
The drivers involved in the accident did not appear to be injured. 5 juveniles and another adult, Brenton Anthony McPhaul, 32 of Jacksonville North Carolina, were present in the Hyundai.
