A Strong Start for LHS Softball

Liberal started their softball season off strongly Tuesday at the Liberal Softball Complex. LHS won 9-3 and 16-1 over Ulysses.

In game one, Jaycee Darroch pitched all seven innings striking out six and allowing five hits. Cynthia Cisneros was 2-3 with a triple while Katie Ralston, Emily Bayouth, Caty Hinnergardt, and Darroch had two hits a piece.

In game two, Ramey Petty struck out six in the win. Darroch went 3-4 while Amanda Love added two hits and two RBI’s.

Liberal goes to Hugoton Thursday for a double header.
