On Saturday, at approximately 6:21 pm, a 2016 Nissan Altima being driven by a 13 year old Liberal minor , was fleeing Law Enforcement Eastbound on US Highway 54, 4.5 miles West of the U160 Junction. Law Enforcement deployed a tire deflation device, which the Altima struck, causing it to leave the roadway into a ditch, where it struck a culvert and came to rest facing Northeast.

The driver was taken to Southwest Medical Center to be treated for minor injuries. Two passengers in the vehicle, a 15 year old minor, and 16 year old Gissell Rodriguez were both taken to Southwest Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.
