Seward Stays on Pace in Jayhawk with Win at Cloud

The #13 Seward volleyball team continues to control their own destiny to win the Jayhawk West.  Seward beat Cloud 3-1 in Concordia Wednesday night 18-25, 25-16, 25-17, 25-12.  The Saints hit .298 while the T-Birds hit .098.  Seward had 53 kills and Cloud had 38.  Sarah Cruz smashed 17 kills while Seyun Park had 10 and Ana Cambraia had seven kills.  Seyun Park had five blocks.  Rafaela DaSilva had 39 assists.  Michell Jerez had 13 digs.  Logan Dodge had two aces, 10 digs, and two assists.

Seward is 26-5 and leads the Jayhawk West at 13-1.  They host Pratt for Seward Sophomore Recognition Night Saturday at 6:30.  Seward’s Basketball Preview Night will follow the volleyball match.
