Redskins Gain Much Needed Win at Cimarron

After losing their last three games,  Liberal took control from the start at Cimarron Tuesday night in a 54-40 win.  The Redskins never trailed in winning their final of seven straight regular season games with Cimarron.

The Skins led 12-6 after one and 20-8 and 25-13 in the first half before leading 25-16 at halftime.  LHS led 36-25 and 41-30 in the third quarter before leading 43-35 after three.  Liberal led 49-35 in the fourth quarter.

Embry Williams led a balanced Redskin attack with 10 points.  AJ Ramirez scored nine.  Braxton Hyde scored eight.  Alex Lopez and Hunter Hatcher scored seven a piece.  The Redskins shot 47 percent while Cimarron shot 44 percent.  The Redskins forced Cimarron into 20 turnovers.

Liberal is 8-10 and Cimarron is 5-13.  The Redskins play at Great Bend Saturday night at 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
