7th Grade A results 7th grade A team girls played Holcomb and Scott Cty
Thursday night. They first took on the Longhorns with amazing teamwork and
great energy. They won 22-20. The second set they lost energy and started
to lose teamwork. They lost in a blowout, 21-5. These ladies knew they had
to come back strong. During the third set, the Lady Warriors needed to make
each rally count. They played hard winning 15-13. The second game saw
action against Scott City., While warming up, these ladies had great
enthusiasm and cheered each other on. However, during the first set, the
girls started to unravel allowing Scott City to take advantage. The Lady
Warriors lost a frustrating set by a 13-21 score. As the second set
proceeded, momentum continued to favor Scott City. . Late in the set, they
realized that they needed to win in order to continue to the tiebreaker. It
was a relief, winning 21-19. The final set saw the Lady Warriors unravel
again as they lost 9-15. These ladies did amazing things today . Facing
some of their stiffest competition to date, the Lady Warriors know there is
a lot of work to do before tournament time. The only thing we were missing
was teamwork. But it was ok, they do not need to win every single game. you
win some, and you lose some.- written by Team Member Lizzie Mannel *
