LHS Girls Soccer Wins in Dramatic Fashion

What a way to begin the season. The Liberal girls soccer team won their opener in PK’s Tuesday evening in Borger. Kim Alarcon scored a goal to tie the game andxsend it to overtime. Alarcon, Kayla Gokey, and Ruth Nunez scored on PK’s as goalie Rayna Gonzalez allowed only one PK into the back of the net. LHS plays at Dodge City Thursday.
