Grymek Leads Seward Past Colby

Joanna Grymek scored 33 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as #4 Seward clobbered Colby 92-58 Wednesday night in the Colby Community Building.  Seward wins in Colby for an 11th consecutive season.  Seward has won 22 in a row over the Lady Trojans.

The Lady Saints led 29-9 after one quarter and 50-22 at the half.  Colby outscored Seward 18-15 in the third quarter.  Seward outscored Colby 27-18 in the fourth.

Grymek just missed her career high which was 35 at Pratt in November.  Mollie Mounsey had 16.  Manuela Fungate had nine points and 11 rebounds.  Neidy Ocuane had 11.

The Lady Saints are 27-1 and 23-1 in the Jayhawk Conference.  They remain tied with Hutchinson with two games to go.  Colby is 3-25 and 1-23.
They have not won since the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  Seward plays at Dodge City Saturday afternoon at 1 with Saints Shoot-around at 12:45 on 107.5 and kscbnews.net.
