Martinez Leads Liberal Wrestlers at Pratt

Liberal’s wrestling team spent most of Saturday in Pratt. They competed
in a very competitive field with 4 ranked teams (Pratt- #2 in 4a, Andale #3 in
4a, Wichita NW #8 in 6a, and Hoisington #2 in 321A). Liberal took 6th place
with only 11 wrestlers and brought home 6 medals out of those 11 wrestlers.
The Angry Red Wrestling Team had 2 4ths (Carlos Mora-152 and Juan
Beltran-132), 3 3rds (Elwin Trejo-285, Misael Monarrez-182, Emanuel
Peralta-145) and our finalist taking 2nd place (Josh Martinez-160).
LHS competes at Colby’s duals tournament Friday and Saturday.
