Salina South Sinks Redskin Season

Salina South ended Liberal’s soccer season Tuesday night. The Cougars (17-2) scored early on at the 35:22 mark and led 1-0 at the half. The Redskins fell behind 2-0 when the Cougars found the back of the net at the 35:07 mark of the second half. Salina South tacked on another goal to advance to the final four. Liberal played without their top scorer Eliel Gonzalez who received two controversial yellow cards in the 2-1 win over Bishop Carroll in Wichita last week. Liberal finishes 12-7 and was 5-3 in the WAC.
