Redskins Top Great Bend

Liberal’s soccer team beat Great Bend 5-2 Monday night in Great Bend. Eliel Gonzales scored three goals for the Redskins. Mike Fonseca and Alexis Carrillo both scored. Johnny Del Val had four assists and Alexic Carrillo added one assist. Liberal is 10-5 and 5-2 in the WAC. The Redskins host WAC champ Dodge City Thursday at about 5:45 for Senior Night. Seniors will be recognized after the 4 p.m. JV game. National Beef bought out the game so admission is free.
