Redskins Wack West in North Cup

Liberal beat a team 6-1 Monday after slipping by the same team 1-0 to begin the season. Monday in the opening round of the Wichita North Cup, the Redskins walloped Wichita West 6-1. Liberal led 4-0 at the half and built a 6-0 lead. Eliel Gonzalez scored three goals and dished three assists. Brian Alvarez had three goals. Israel Arroya added an assist. The Redskins led shots on goal 15-4. The third ranked Redskins are 10-1-1 and face TMP Wednesday at 5:15. The Monarch beat the Berean Academy 2-1.
