Rough Outing for Larks at State

Sublette’s time in the 2-1A state baseball tournament was short lived. The Sublette Larks lost 12-2 to Olathe Christian Heritage Thursday evening at Soden’s Grove in Emporia. The Larks managed just two hits and committed four errors. Starting pitcher Trevor Leverett allowed just seven hits in the loss. The Olathe team scored four in each of the first two innings for an 8-0 lead. The Larks finish 13-9 after making state for the third time in four years.
