Saints Sluggish in Return to Court

Mineral Area (14-3) held down Seward in a 69-63 decision on New Year’s Eve in Port Arthur, Texas. The Saints fall to 8-5 on the season. The Saints slumped in the second half going 1-13 from the three point line and shot just 21 percent from the field. The Saints shot 31 percent for the game and were 3-18 from three point range in the game. Edson Avila had 19 points and six rebounds in the loss.

The Saints play #23 Port Arthur on New Year’s day.
