Redskins Grab First Soccer Win

Liberal’s offensive struggles continue but what matters most is the Redskins earned that coveted first win. The LHS soccer team after a 3-0 loss at Great Bend and a 1-0 loss to Derby, gained a 1-0 win over Wichita South Wednesday afternoon in their second game of the Wichita South Titan Classic. They scored their goal on a penalty kick when Misael Moncayo found the back of the net. Liberal still doesn’t have a goal other than the PK Wednesday.

The 1-2 Redskins play Saturday at 11 a.m. against Wichita Trinity or Manhattan.
