Liberal Girls Dominant in Navarro’s First Game as Coach

Playing their first game under interim head coach Lori Navarro, the LHS girls looked like a different team. Playing for the first time since their head coach left them after a 1-0 loss at home to Guymon April 24, Liberal defeats Wichita Sunrise Christian 4-0 at the Wichita North Cup Tuesday.

Mayra Moreno scored two goals while Karina Vazquez and Kelly Ramirez added goals. LHS was in attack mode taking 18 shots on goal. Liberal is 2-9-1 and wins for the first time since March 20. They face Garden City Thursday at 5:30 in the Wichita North Cup.
