Lady Saints Sweep Colby to Cap Regular Season

The Seward softball team finished their regular season in fine fashion with a sweep at Colby Friday evening. Seward won 12-6 and 12-3 to finish 12-4 in the Jayhawk West and 39-18 overall. Seward finishes in second place behind 14-2 Butler. Colby is 14-32 overall and finishes 3-13 in the Jayhawk West. Seward opens play in the Region 6 Softball Tournament Saturday, May 5 at noon against Garden City.
