Liberal junior goalkeeper Ricardo Castro is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Castro and the LHS defense held opponents to four goals in the five playoff wins. Castro and the Redskins won the 5A state championship with a 3-1 win Saturday over Blue Valley in Kansas City. The Skins won their final 12 games to finish 16-5.
