In a well pitched game, the Liberal Bee Jays dropped a 3-2 game at Larks Park in Hays on Monday night.  The game was a non league game.  Hays won the game despite only three hits.

The B.J.’s scored in the third to take the lead.   The Larks broke through with a three run sixth.  The Jays scored a seventh inning run.

Liberal lost despite out-hitting the Larks 6-3 while Hays had three errors and Liberal did not commit an error.

Josh Mosley gave the Bee Jays a solid outing going six innings with three strikeouts and one walk.  Stephen Brown pitched two scoreless innings.  Seth Green and Cole Manuel had two hits a piece.

Hays is 20-2 and Liberal is 14-8-1.  Liberal plays at Hays Tuesday night at 7pm with pre-game at 6:45 on 1270 and 92.3 FM.
