Guymon More of a Triple Threat

KSCB News - August 23, 2010 12:00 am

Guymon begins their second year in the triple option offense this season. Seven starters are back including quarterback Colter Headrick who will trigger that offense which struggled last year. But the Tigers have had a full off season under second year coach Joe Litsch. Guymon was 1-9 last year after an 0-10 2008 season and Clinton is added back to their district schedule.

Key Tigers include Headrick who is the quarterback and also the safety, sr. fb/ng Kolton Renteria, sr. c/dt TJ Anderson, sr. wr/cb Jace Melton, jr. lineman Garret Marler, and sr. rb/lb Fernando Acosta. Guymon has 42 players and eight seniors out for football. The Tigers and their head coach Joe Litsch will be featured during the Sportsguys Monday morning between 7:37 and 9 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
