On May 13, 2026, Haskell County Deputies responded to a roll-over motor vehicle accident that occurred on Road 210 near Road FF in Satanta. Upon arrival, deputies observed a vehicle resting on its side in the center of the road and contacted the driver. Meanwhile, Haskell County EMS evaluated the driver and one passenger and later transported both individuals to Satanta District Hospital for further medical care. Deputies remained on scene and arranged for the vehicle to be towed as it was not operatable after sustaining significant damage. Deputies were later advised that the driver was released from Satanta District Hospital and the passenger had been airlifted to Wichita to be treated for internal injuries.
