7 Year Old Injured In Auto Accident

On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at about 11:10 a.m., emergency responders were called to Six Points for a report of an injury accident.

Investigating officers learned that a silver, 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 28 year old female was stopped at the light facing westbound on highway 54 when an orange and white, 2004 Ford E250 van driven by a 20 year old male rear ended the Sonata. A 7 year old male passenger in the Sonata was transported to Southwest Medical Center by Seward County EMS with minor injuries.

The driver of the van was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
