49th Annual Folk Arts Festival This Weekend

This year marks the 49th annual Folk Arts Festival sponsored by S.P.B.H. There will be over 100 assorted craftsman from Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nebraska. The Folk Art Festival will take place at the Seward County Activity Center from 9:30am to 5:00pm Saturday and 12:00 noon to 5:00pm on Sunday. A drawing will be held to benefit the Liberal Area Rape Crisis and domestic Violence Center. Prizes include the chance to win a Jeep Wrangler Sport. To register, just donate a non-perishible food item. One ticket per donated item. The event is free to the public. For more information, call Ada Linebroker at 620-629-0497.
