The Board of Directors and Staff of Panhandle Services for Children (PSC) warmly invite you to join us for our Open House and Ribbon Cutting on November 12, 2026! Come celebrate with us and enjoy lunch generously provided by Seaboard Foods from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
PSC was established in 2012 to address an identified need for services within the community. Following several relocations, PSC acquired its permanent location in May 2021 with support of a generous donation from a local family.
Through collaboration with the Oklahoma Association of Youth Services (OAYS), which provides technical assistance, education, advocacy, and support to its statewide membership of Designated Youth Services Agencies, helping them strengthen services for children, youth, and families throughout Oklahoma, PSC was awarded funding granted through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) as allocated by the Oklahoma Legislature and administered through the Office of Juvenile Affairs, and were able to move into our current location in February of 2023. The grant helped with facility expansion, eliminating the need for shared office space, created additional classroom space, allowed PSC to acquire interactive technology, created an outside patio area, and updated the exterior. These upgrades and advances have given our service providers the tools they need to better serve our area youth.
PSC currently offers prevention education, individual and family counseling, community workshops, and assistance for host homes. All services are provided at no cost to the families and are available at our office and approved off-site locations throughout the Panhandle.
Over the years, PSC has benefited from community support through participation in our programs, assistance with events, and support grants. As our agency grows, continued community support remains essential to sustaining our services.
We look forward to welcoming community members for facility tours and lunch and to continuing our work together for years to come.
