Seward County Commission Meets, Approves Truck Purchases For The Landfill

Joe Denoyer - February 22, 2017 10:10 am

The Seward County Commission met Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm and approved the purchase of 2 Roll-Off trucks. One was purchased from Liberal Kenworth with the second coming from Custom Truck LLC. The Commission also voted to waive the purchase policy for the 2nd truck.

Mona Arredondo was appointed to two boards by the Commissioners. She was appointed to the Seward County Fair Board and also the Planning and Zoning Board. She had previously served on both of these boards.

The Commission took no action of the Waiver of Fees Policy for the county, but instructed County Administrator, April Warden, to come up with a new form and short questionnaire to be filled out by applicants.

The Seward County Commission will next meet on March the 6th.
