The Seward County Board Of County Commissioners met Tuesday night at 5:30pm in the Seward County Commission Chambers for their regularly scheduled meeting. Among the items on the agenda were pit bull and vicious dog resolutions. Commissioners approved to allow Pit Bulls in Seward County, but will regulate them. The County will also address vicious dogs, no matter what the breed. The Commission also decided to add a new metal roof to the Rock House on the fairgrounds, but will not do any more repairs to the interior of the structure until it is decided the further use of the building. At Tuesdays meeting the Board of County Commissioners also lifted the hiring freeze for Seward County and awarded the bid for new lighting on the fairgrounds to B&B Electric. The next meeting of the Seward County Commission is set for July 18th, 2011.
