Saints Foul Up Northwest Tech

That was more like it. One night after a shaky showing in the opener and loss to the Colorado Kings, the Seward County Saints beat a talented Northwest Tech team 72-69 in the Green House Saturday night. There were 61 fouls whistled in this game which ended shortly before 11 p.m. Secean Johnson scored 19 despite foul trouble while Kevin Smith dropped in 17 including to key floaters late in the game. Malcolm Hill-Bey added 10. Seward is 1-1 and plays #25 North Platte Friday at 3:30 in Garden City on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
