Kindergarten Round-Up Coming Soon

USD 480 Liberal Public Schools is conducting a Kindergarten Round-Up on Tuesday April 30 from 5:30-7:30pm for parents and their prospective kindergarten age children. The Round-Up will be held at all District elementary schools on a come and go basis and parents should plan to attend at their neighborhood school during those hours. Parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and staff, tour the school, visit Kindergarten classrooms, receive important information regarding enrollment requirements and children will receive a special welcome to Kindergarten gift. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31st to be eligible for Kindergarten. Please bring a proof of residency (utility bill, phone bill, etc.) If you are interested in having your child attend the Dual Language Kindergarten, there will be a mandatory parent meeting from 5:00-5:30pm at McDermott Elementary school that evening before the Round-Up. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Help you and your child make the transition to Kindergarten a successful new beginning.
