Liberal Volleyball Outlasts Dodge City

Liberal’s volleyball team won a wild one over Dodge City in the Big House Thursday evening.  Liberal won 19-25, 25-14, 15-25, 25-20, 15-10.  Machia Mullens led the way with 14 kills.  Katiara Polvon had 12 kills and Whitney Hay added 10.  Haylee Parker had 32 digs.  KT Polvon had 26 and Whitney Hay had 21 digs.  Hay had seven service aces.  LHS is 6-9.

Liberal hosts a tournament beginning Saturday morning at 8:30.  They are in a pool with Southwestern Heights, Meade, and Wichita Southeast.  The other pool is Colby, Dodge City, Hugoton, and Perryton.
