LHS Booster Club Donates 1,000 Dollars to Injured Satanta Player

KSCB News - September 13, 2013 6:15 am

The Liberal High School Booster Club donated one thousand dollars to an injured Satanta football player. Satanta’s Anthony Crump suffered a severe spinal chord injury and a broken neck Friday against Goodwell and is now in a rehabilitation hospital in Chicago. The LHS Booster Club’s Tracy Hammond made a check presentation with other members of the booster club on hand at Billy’s during 102.7’s On the Sidelines show with the Satanta Indians Thursday night.

Their opponent and rival Moscow will have a green out in support of Anthony during Friday night’s game which airs on 102.7. Sublette will support Anthony and the Satanta community in a similar fashion tonight. Many other area communities are also showing their support.

If you are interested in helping, make a check to the family to help with costs. Make the check to Jeanette Crump and send it to Satanta High School at 100 Caddo St. with a zip code of 67870.
