Kansas Lottery Commissions Paintings

KSCB News - January 20, 2011 8:26 am

The Kansas Lottery commissioned 10 paintings
that celebrate the state to promote a new scratch ticket, and to
celebrate the state’s 150th birthday.
The paintings were commissioned for the new $2 scratch ticket
called Happy 150 Kansas. A ticket holder who doesn’t win money
could still win one of the paintings during a drawing at the Kansas
State Fair in September.
Four of the 10 paintings were selected for the scratch tickets:
a Kanza Indian chief, a bison, the Strong City train depot and a
cattle drive.
