The USD 480 Board of Education will meet Monday night at the Education Service Center at 7:30 p.m. for a regularly scheduled meeting.

The meeting will begin with a Budget Hearing. The only action items on the agenda are bills, the consent agenda, two grants, certified and classified employment, resignations, and transfers, and the 09-10 budget for the district.

The current budget proposal has the mill levy being raised slightly to make up for budget cuts from the state. This topic will be open for discussion. The budget will not be finalized until board approval, which must be done during Monday’s meeting. Local cuts are possible which could reduce the current mill levy raise proposal.
