Updated COVID-19 Numbers for May 4th

The lastest statistics released by the KDHE, Seward County Health Department and surrounding Counties for Monday, May 4th show in Seward County 1,544 individuals have been tested for COVID 19. Of those tested, 599 individuals test results have come back positive for COVID-19.753 tests have come back negative. 182 Individuals have recovered from COVID 19. No deaths have been reported.

Around the area, Stevens County has 12 positive cases compared to 91 negative cases with 1 hospitalization, Haskell County 8positive cases and 36 negative cases, Morton County has 3 positive cases and 36 negative cases, Grant County has 8 positive case and 50 negative cases, Meade County has 11 positive cases 62 negative cases, Ford County has 832positive cases with 1097 negative cases, Stanton County has 5 positive cases, 11 negative cases and Finney County has 498 positive cases and 537 negative cases. Cimarron County has 1 positive case, Beaver County has 14 positive cases while Texas County has 236 positive tests. Ochiltree County/Perryton TX has reported 19 positive cases with 2 non resident positives.

Seward County – 20 hospitalized
Ford County – 13 hospitalized
Finney County – 9 hospitalized
Stevens County – 1 hospitalized
Some of the individuals have been discharged from the hospital.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 5245 positive tests, 33,358 negative tests, and 136 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 4,044 positive tests, 66,084 negative tests, and 230 deaths have been attributed to the Coronavirus.
