UPDATE: Arrest Made In LPD Shooting Investigation

UPDATE:
ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING INCIDENT
On Wednesday March 18, 2015, a 22 year old male was taken into custody for his involvement in a shooting that had occurred in Liberal on March 17, 2015. The individual was taken into custody without incident.
An affidavit has been forwarded to the Seward County Attorney seeking formal charges.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at about 1:52 a.m., officers
were dispatched to Southwest Medical Center, 315 W 15th St for a report of a
gunshot victim. Responding officers learned that a 22 year old Kismet man
was shot at an unknown location. He was brought to Southwest Medical Center by a private
vehicle. He was later transported to Wichita for further care and is currently in stable condition.
This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to

Personsproviding information that leads to an arrest are eligible for a reward.
