Ulysses Woman Injured in Ellis County Accident

A Ulysses woman was injured at approximately 4:53pm on I70 in Ellis County. A 2010 Pontiac being driven by 23 year old Michelle C. Barb of Ulysses, was travleing West on I70 when she fell asleep and entered the median. The Pontiac became airborne off of an embankment at  mile marker 173 West and landed on Walker Ave. The vehicle then collided with a guardrail and came to rest on the passenger side facing Southwest.

Barb was taken to Hays Med Center to be treated for what appeared to be minor injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
