Ulysses Teen Killed in One Vehicle Accident

A Ulysses Teen died Sunday afternoon at  approximately 2:28pm, in a one vehicle accident 12.8 miles south of US 50 on K 25 in Kearney County.

A 2010 Chevy Camaro being driven by Brandon Barbo, 19, of Ulysses, was traveling south on K25. The Camaro left the roadway to the right and went into the south bound ditch. Barbo lost control and the vehicle rolled. The vehicle went through a barbwire fence and after rolling an undetermined amount of times, came to a rest on all 4 wheels facing northeast. The driver was ejected while the vehicle rolled. Barbo died at the scene. He was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
