Two Vehicle Accident Sends One to the Hospital

A two vehicle accident occurred Wednesday morning at approximately 11:15 am on North Kansas Avenue at 15th Street, 500 feet south of Medical Drive.
A 2016 Honda CRV being driven by James Reeves, 77, of Booker Oklahoma, was northbound on N Kansas Avenue. A 2014 Denali being driven by Oscar Cervantes Aquirre, 21, of Hooker Oklahoma was southbound on N Kansas Ave in the southbound turning lane. Reeves swerved to the left hitting the Denali and ended up striking the curb on North Kansas Ave about 100 feet from the intersection.
Reeves was taken to Southwest Medical Center with minor injuries. Cervantes Aquirre, Was not injured.
