Two Vehicle Accident Injures Hooker Residents

An Injury accident occurred On Thursday evening at approximately 7:56pm at the corner of Panhandle Street and Jackson Street In Hooker, OK.

A 2018 Ford Fusion driven by a 17 year old female, of Hooker, OK. was westbound on Panhandle street. when she struck a 2017 Texas County Patrol Car being driven by Officer Sarah Schultz, 29 of Goodwell, who was also heading west and attempting to overtake the Fusion on Panhandle Street, enroute a fire.

The 17 year old driver was transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center
in Liberal, where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.

A passenger in the Fusion, Rubi Vega,39 of Hooker, OK was transported
by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. and admitted in stable condition with arm and trunk internal injuries.

A second passenger, a juvenile female, age 11 of Hooker, OK.
Transported by Hooker EMS to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was admitted
in stable condition with trunk internal and leg injuries.

Officer Schultz, refused medical treatment at the
scene.
