Two More Candidates File for County Commission Race

The Seward County Clerk’s Office is reporting that two more candidates have filed to run in the upcoming County Commission race.

Ada J. Linebroker, Republican, has filed as a candidate for Seward County Commission District 2. Linebroker filed on Tuesday and joins Republican Garry Hittle who filed back in March and incumbent Joyce Hibler, Democrat, who filed back in February.

Also filing on Tuesday was Randy Malin, Republican, who filed as a candidate for Seward County Commission District 3. Malin is the only candidate who has filed in District 3 as of right now. Incumbent Stephen “Ike” Eisenhauer, Republican has yet to file for re-election.

Incumbent Toby Hale, Democrat, filed for re-election back in January for District 4. Hale is the only candidate to file for District 4 as of right now as well.

The deadline to file for offices for the upcoming August primary is at noon on June 10, 2010.
