Two Meade Residents Injured in Highway 54 Crash

Two Meade residents were injured in a crash near downtown Meade Thursday afternoon. Twenty-nine year old Kristina Lahr of Meade and 53 year old Connie Watson of Meade were injured and taken to Meade County Hospital. The crash occurred at about 3:10 p.m. Thursday afternoon on Highway 54 near downtown Meade. Lahr was driving a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero west on 54. Lahr’s vehicle turned south onto Botkin in front of a 2008 Lexus which struck the driver’s side of Lahr’s vehicle. Watson was the passenger in Lahr’s car.
