Two Injured in Roll Over East of Liberal

Two Liberal residents are trying to recover from injuries after a roll over late Saturday night in Seward County.  The incident occurred at 11:52 Saturday night 6.5 miles east of Liberal on Highway 54.  The Kansas Highway Patrol reports 24 year old Rodrigo Alvarez was driving a 2008 Volkswagon west on 54 when the car crossed left of center and entered the south ditch.  The car then entered a side skid and tripped in the soft dirt rolling over one time.  Alvarez was taken to Southwest Medical Center with a possible injury.  The passenger 30 year old Arturo Martinez of Liberal was injured and taken to Southwest Medical Center.
