Three LHS Girls Brave Elements to Qualify for State

Three Liberal High School golfers will play on the state’s latest possible date for girls golf. Liberal freshman Evan Sumner shot a 115 while junior Megan Campbell carded a 124 and senior Emily Jackson scored a 133 to qualify on a 40 degree day at Smoky Hills Golf Course in Hays. The state meet is Monday in Overland Park.
