Thieves Stealing Barbershop Poles

Someone’s swiping the stripes. Crooks have stolen barber poles from two shops in central Kentucky.

Eddie Burke says his 75-year-old pole was taken from in front of his barber shop in Frankfort. He says the thieves knew what they were doing, because the electrical connections were undone before the pole was removed from a wall.

A local paper reports barber poles can sell for up two-grand apiece on eBay.
