Texhoma Teen Is Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen

KSCB News - September 21, 2011 8:10 am

Jetti Lorenz, Miss Pioneer Days Rodeo Queen 2011, has worked hard this summer. Jetti and her horse, Grimm Reaper, have competed in over twenty rodeos and barrel races in five states including Kansas, Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
With all this hard work, Jetti had earned the honor of being ranked 15th in the Texas Cowboys Rodeo Association (TCRA) and sat fourth in the “Rookie of the Year” standings. However, as the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2012 in waiting, Jetti has a new goal to accomplish.
Jetti traveled to Oklahoma City this past June to compete in the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen Pageant.
The rigorous four-day competition included modeling, horsemanship, speech, and several interviews.
Winning the title of Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2012 is a dream come true for Jetti. She plans on representing the Oklahoma Panhandle and the state of Oklahoma in rodeos and other events across Oklahoma during her reign.
This talented young lady is the 17 year old daughter of Lana Lorenz. Jetti attended Texhoma High school for a short time before finishing her diploma online in December of 2010. She has had several offers to participate on rodeo teams in her post high school educational goals, but plans on holding the title of Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2012 seriously. Jetti plans on pursuing a degree in Horse Chiropractics at a Texas college, but is undecided in her choice at this time.
Jetti will officially begin her reign as Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2012 on February 28, 2012 in Guymon. She will be honored for your attendance at her coronation which will consist of a dinner, silent auction and dance to help defray her travel expenses. So everyone get your dancing boots on and come help support your Miss Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo Queen 2011 as she goes on to represent the Oklahoma Panhandle as Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen 2012.
