Testing Continues to Identify COVID 19 Positive and Negative Cases

Seward County is taking a proactive approach to fighting COVID 19 and is testing more individuals. With more testing, will come more positive cases and more negative cases.The lastest statistics released by the Seward County Health Department show, 495 test have been performed throughout the Seward County. Of those 495, 195 individuals test results have come back positive. 199 tests have come back Negative. There are still 87 tests pending. There has been 16 out of County positives tested in Seward County.

Around the area, Stevens County has tested 60 with 6 positive cases, Haskell County has tested 13 with positive 1 case, Morton County has tested 12 with 2 positive case, Grant County has tested 11 with 0 positive cases, Meade County has tested 14 with 0 positive cases, Ford County has tested 410 with 210 positive cases, Stanton County has tested 9 with 3 positive cases and Finney County has tested 173 with 56 positive cases. Beaver County has 1 positive case while Texas County has 34 positive tests.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 2211 positive tests, 17,992 negative tests, 432 hospitalized and 110 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 2894 positive tests, 43,019 negative tests, and 170 deaths have been attributed to the Coronavirus.
