SWMC Expands Visitor Restrictions

Joe Denoyer - March 12, 2020 7:07 pm

Southwest Medical Center is expanding visitor restrictions to prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses, including coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). There are currently zero confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Seward County, however we are taking this additional measure to protect the health of our patients, their loved ones and our medical staff.

Effective immediately, anyone under the age of 18 is restricted from visiting, except under extreme circumstances. Patients will be allowed two visitors who must remain in the hospital room for the duration of the visit.

Thank you for your understanding and for adhering to these policies to help us keep our patients, families, and visitors protected and healthy during this time.
