Sunday Night Crash Injures Two

An injury accident occurred on Sunday September 10th at approximately 9:30 pm, approximately 1 mile west of Bryan’s Corner, in Beaver County.

A 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 being driven by Zane Mooney, 28, of Balko, Oklahoma was sitting stationary on the south side of OK-3 in the Eastbound Ditch facing west. A 2001 Ford F-350 pickup driven by Jorge Alberto Hernandez, 58, of Fort Pierce, Florida was eastbound on OK-3 when it departed the roadway to the right unknown reason, striking the Dodge Ram head on in the southbound ditch.

Hernandez was transported by Beaver County EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas. He was later transferred to BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas with trunk internal injuries where he was admitted in stable condition.

Mooney was not injured, however a passenger in his vehicle, James Mooney, age 63, of Hale Center, Texas. Was transported by Beaver County EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas. He was treated and released.
