Special Dollar Deals to be Offered Saturday and Tuesday at Pancake Day events

Liberal, Kans.— Special dollar deals on vintage t-shirts will be available with the purchase of a 2015 shirt Saturday and Tuesday at Pancake Day events.
Folks who buy this year’s shirt will get a coupon allowing them to shop in the vintage shirt section, where previous years’ Pancake Day t-shirts and hoodies will be just $1 each.
This special deal will be available from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Pancake Eating and Flipping Contest and from 6-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pancake Breakfast.
Proceeds from the dollar shirt sales will help fund repairs and improvements to the Pancake Day Hall of Fame.
The flipping and eating contest will be in the Girl Scout Building in Light Park, and the Pancake Day Breakfast will be at the Seward County Event Center.
The 2015 shirt sports the slogan “Get Your Flips at Pancake Day 66” on the front, while the back features a very special list: the names, times, and years of all International Race record-holders from 1950 through last year.
